1. The Service
AlignOS provides software tools intended to help schools organise routine operations from one platform, including student management, staff management, classes, attendance, fee management, salary management, holidays, dashboard information and authenticated access.
2. School Account
- Provide accurate account and school information.
- Keep login credentials confidential.
- Give access only to authorised users.
- The account owner is responsible for activity performed through its credentials.
3. School Data
The school is responsible for information entered into AlignOS, including student, parent/guardian, staff, attendance, fee and salary records. The school must have the necessary authority and permissions to collect and use that information.
4. Acceptable Use
You must not unlawfully access, disclose, alter, destroy or misuse information; bypass security; interfere with the service; introduce malicious code; or use the service for an unlawful purpose.
5. Fees and Subscription
For paid plans, applicable fees, billing period, taxes and plan conditions will be shown at purchase or communicated through the applicable billing process. Paid functionality may depend on successful payment.
6. Free Trial
Where offered, the trial duration and included functionality will be specified during registration or on the applicable AlignOS page. Trial offers may be changed or discontinued subject to applicable commitments.
7. Availability and Changes
AlignOS aims for reliable access but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may be updated, modified or discontinued as the service develops.
8. Intellectual Property
AlignOS software, interface, branding, documentation and related materials are owned by or licensed to AlignOS and may not be copied, resold, reverse engineered or commercially exploited except as permitted by law or written agreement.
9. Suspension or Termination
Access may be suspended or terminated for material breach, misuse, security risk, non-payment or legal requirements. The school may stop using the service subject to applicable subscription terms.
10. Disclaimer
AlignOS is a software management tool. The school remains responsible for its academic, administrative, financial, employment, statutory and record-keeping decisions. The service does not replace professional legal, accounting or regulatory advice.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, AlignOS will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are intended to be governed by the applicable laws of India, subject to mandatory legal requirements.
