- Account information such as name, email, mobile number and login details.
- School profile and administrative information.
- Student and parent/guardian information entered by authorised school users.
- Staff information and designation details.
- Class, attendance, fee, salary and holiday records.
- Technical information reasonably required to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
2. How Information Is Used
Information may be used to provide school-management functionality, authenticate users, maintain records, process subscriptions where applicable, provide support, improve reliability and protect the platform.
3. School Responsibility
For student, parent/guardian, staff and other school records entered into AlignOS, the school is responsible for determining the purpose and lawful basis for collection and use. Schools should provide appropriate notices and obtain permissions or consents where required by applicable law.
4. Student and Staff Information
Authorised users should enter only information necessary for legitimate school operations and should maintain appropriate internal access controls.
5. Security
AlignOS uses authenticated access and reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information. No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.
6. Sharing and Disclosure
AlignOS does not intend to sell school records for advertising purposes. Information may be disclosed where necessary to provide the service, comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and security, or support service infrastructure subject to appropriate safeguards.
7. Retention
Information may be retained as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and security records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements.
8. User Responsibilities
Schools and authorised users should secure credentials, restrict access to appropriate personnel, maintain accurate records and report suspected unauthorised access promptly.

10. Changes
This policy may be updated when the service, legal requirements or data practices change. The revised version will be published with an updated date.
